2009 Branson Stars & Flags
Book Award Winners
About the award categories.
This being our first year for the awards, we were pleased to have so many very fine books to choose from. Because our scores for many of the categories were so close, it was determined that we would devide some of the categories and add new ones. Fiction was divided into Thriiler/Adventure and Historical Fiction. Historical Fiction was then separated by timeframe, eg. Civil War, WWII, etc. We also added the new category of Reference/Technical Writing.
